I was really excited to play this new deck concept I had. I thought it would be tournament worthy. I was wrong. I got stomped 3 out of 4 games. I didn’t ever find my low drops. Maybe I need more characters. Here is the decklist anyway:

Heres what I wanted to accomplish –

Rnd 1:

Wild Child or Archangel (Searching out X-corp to grab my teamup)
Flip X-men Assemble(s)

Rnd 2:

Play the 198 team-up
Play Crimson Commando for counter madness or Bishop to search for an AoA card

Rnd 3:

Silver Sabre has some potential with X-Men Assemble. Hopefully you stun 2 characters and net yourself 2-4 counters for the turn.

Rnd 4:

Wolverine is the man. Again recovery tricks are meant to pump him up.

Rnd 5:

Quicksilver, Speed Demon looks a tad weak but you can attack with him once. Recover him with counters and go to battle again to get more counters.

Rnd 6:

Mystique, Freedom Force worked out VERY well for me both offensive and defensively. Children of the Atom for a surprise recovery make for a mini Nasty Surprise.

What do you think? It was VERY inconsistent as is but I don’t want to give up on the idea quite yet.
